If exercising inside isn't an option, or you prefer outdoor activities, keep these tips in mind.
On hot humid days:
Exercise in the early morning or after the sun goes down so it is cooler.
Give yourself a chance to adapt to the heat — don't overdo it!
Drink lots of fluids before, during, and after exercising. Have a V8® 100% vegetable juice to rehydrate after a workout.
Watch out for signs of heat stroke — feeling dizzy, weak, lightheaded and/or excessive sweating, or changes in body temperature.
Wear light, loose-fitting clothing.
